A young man has been accused of videotaping a nude classmate at South San High School and showing the footage to other students. Gabriel Mendoza was arrested Friday night and charged with improper photography or visual recording, which is a state felony. Mendoza’s bail was set at 5k. According to the arrest warrant affidavit students approached officials at the school with concerns abut the incident.
Police said the victim told officials that Mendoza had been distributing nude images of her. Mendoza’s cell phone was confiscated and investigators said they discovered video footage of the victim.

A man stole more than $200,000 from a Southwest Side bank, tehnused an employees car to get away police report. But an image of his face coverd with what appears to be pantyhose was captured by a security camera as he sprayed the lens with a spray paint can and authorities are releasing the photo to the pulbic in hopes of learning his whereabouts.
The man walked up behind a woman Thursday morning as she was opening the IBC Bank in the 3100 block of Southeast military drive and demanded that she turn off the alarm, while he sprayed two security camers with spray paint.
After stuffing a bag with money, he told the woman and another employee to lie facedown for 10 minutes, then filed in one of their vehicles with the cash and their cellphones and keys. A former salesman for Rackspace Managed Hosting was sentenced Thursday to two years of probation for defrauding the San Antonio company out of $64,174. David John Whitman pleaded guilty in May to two counts of wire fraud. He admitted turning in fraudulent service orders so he could get highter commissions & in some cases keep his position.
Whitman faced up to a year in jail on each count, but brought a $5,000 check to apply to restitution and help boost his chances for probation. he also apologized for violating the trust of Rackspace.
Assistant U.S. attorney Judith patton did not oppose probation. U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia gave Whitman two years of probation and imposed a $1,000 fine after patton said Rackspace did not want restitution. Why should they when the city gave them more than 100 million based on an agreement they would add thousand of new jobs to the city. (where are the new jobs?)
Between March 2006 and January 2007 David Whitmen sent 14 forms by fax or email to Rackspace knowing they contained false information his plea deal said.

A junior ROTC instructor at Wagner high School admitted to police wednesday that he had knowingly placed a video recorder in a storage room where female students sometimes change their clothes. The instructor, who has not been indentified, resigned Wednesday afternoon. Students found the recorder Tuesday in a room that held equipment and uniforms for the Junior ROTC program and was sometimes used asa dressing area by students.
At first, the students thought they had found a flash drive, Judson Independent School District spokeswoman Aubrey Chancello said,but they turned the device over to another insturctor after realizing what they had was actually a tiny video camera that held inappropriate images of a female, minor student.
These are serious felony charges, that equal the end to the instructor’s career, freedom and family! In New Braunfels Texas, a Canyon Lake woman was cahrged with intoxication manslaughter in a crash that killed a motorcyclist. Anthony Cortez died in a head on collision on FM 2673 on Dec 4 2010. A comal county grand jury indicted Diana Lynne Hamby, she was arrested last week and is free on $25,000 bail.

Ingram authorities are investigating the homicide last week of a 6 week old girl born to two teens. Sage Pennington was pronounced dead on the evening of sept 21 by staffers at Peterson regional medical Center in Kerrville, who then alerted Ingram City Marshall Rowan Zachry.
Zachry said the child’s parents 17 and 16 provided inconsistent accounts on their child head injury. The autopsy showed the child died of blunt force trauma. Zachry said investigators findings will be presented to a Kerr County grand jury.

A 14 month old boy was found dead at an East Side home tuesday afternoon. The boyfriend of the baby’s mother said Issac Morteo was put to bed around 9:30pm Monday at the house in the 1000 block of Piedmont avenue.
Police said the boyfriend reported checking on the baby several times but didn’t touch him, assuming that he was asleep. He was discovered dead at 2:30pm, The cause of death wasn’t immediately obvious. The police homicide unit is investigating.

Deputy constable was caught in drug shipment sting. A former Webb county deputy constable admitted Wednesday in a laredo federal court to accepting bribes. Eduardo Garcia a certified peace officer since 1993 pleaded guilty to a corruption charge, admitting that he took bribes from a government informant who he believed was a drug trafficker. Hefaces up to 20 years in prison.
Garcia admitted to escorting what he thought were loads of cocaine being transported across Laredo in 2008, on one occasion using a law enforcement van and on another occasion driving his personal vehicle, according to the U.S. attorney’s office in Houston. but the cocaine was fake,

Agency says all of them have prior convictions. U.S. immigration and customs enforcement last week rounded up 76 people in South Texas that the agency says are convicted criminals who are in the country illegally. The 76 were arrested as part of the nationwide operation Cross check which netted 2,900 people facing the same allegations ICE announced Wednesday.
